Urielle Klein-Mekongo is a writer, actress, singer and playwright from North West London. Her autobiographical, one-woman show Yvette premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017, garnering 5-star reviews, and a national tour.

Urielle's work fuses spoken word and original music, using today's voice to tell stories and histories of the Black British experience.
​
BLACK POWER DESK is Urielle's new Black British musical that uses an original score of rap, grime, dancehall and soul to shine a light on a rarely explored part of Black British history.

Brian Mullin is a playwright, theatre-maker and dramaturg, born in the USA and working in London since 2012. He writes, teaches, and also works extensively with community groups.

LIVE TO TELL: (A proposal for) THE MADONNA JUKEBOX MUSICAL was Brian's debut as an autobiographical performer, and premiered in 2022.

Natasha Sutton Williams is an award-winning writer, composer, actor and journalist.
Her shows use humour to explore the messiness and complexity of sexuality and connection.

LESBIAN PIRATES! is Natasha's new musical based on the untold true story of the ruthless, maverick and lesbian pirates Anne Bonny and Mary Read. Featuring integrated BSL and a company of D/Deaf and Hearing performers, this show is in development and has received significant support to date.

Natasha's other shows with PlayWell and Working Birthday include Freud the Musical, Clown Sex, and Love Rash.

Tom Wright is a playwright, theatre director and producer, originally from Coventry. He is the Artistic Director of Leeds Playhouse, haveing previously been currently the Associate Artistic Director of the Kiln Theatre and Head of Artist Development at The Old Vic. His two back-to-back debut plays were nominated for seven Off West End Awards including Best New Play and Most Promising Playwright.

I AIN'T DUMB - this hard-hitting play sees a proudly inclusive tough inner-city Coventry school explode into a rapidly escalating identity war. Sex secrets, hip-hop and hope fight for centre stage in this vibrant, in-yer-face, real talk rollercoaster.

VERY SPECIAL GUEST STAR was the third in Tom's hugely successful coming-of-age trilogy, a provocative and darkly entertaining exploration of white and middle-class gay privilege.

Jon Hare is a writer, lyricist and composer living in South East England. Previously a Production Manager, Jon is currently currently Outreach Manager for Guildhall School of Music & Drama​

WITH COURAGE is a PlayWell commission that draws on the stories, history and lives of the RNLI's coastal communities as a celebration and commemoration of this world-renowned organisation. It premiered in 2024 and will be returning in 2026.
