MEET THE TEAM

STEPH J WELLER

Steph Weller (Exec Producer) is a creative producer, working in theatre and festivals. As well as securing the long-term development for PlayWell's projects via partnerships and fundings, she leads PlayWell's artist development & support stream, nurturing long-running relationships with a small number of artists, allowing them to play creatively as they build towards delivery of a full-scale production.

Steph is the Chair of the Board of Directors for IronClad Creative (Brighton), a disabled-led not-for-profit cultural organisation that provides training, networking and commissioning for writers and theatre-makers, especially those with low incomes and/or those who are neurodivergent. Steph has produced for a number of venues and organisations, including China Plate, MAYK, Inspector Sands, Reading Rep, IJAD Dance and Reading Fringe Festival.

Steph is an Old Vic 12 producer, and holds a Stage One bursary for new producers. She is supported by China Plate's Darkroom.

VICKY BERRY

Vicky Berry (Access Executive) is Access Manager at Graeae and a freelance theatre access consultant, helping organisations to embed access into their working and creative practices, and supporting artists with their access provision. After an extensive career in stage management, Vicky has moved into participatory arts practice. Vicky works industry-wide advocating for embedded accessibility, and supporting projects with a focus on access and inclusion, and promoting pathways into the industry. She is a trained theatre captioner.
